Our Women’s Network group is on a mission to cultivate an allied network for women across the Madison family of businesses to allow opportunities to collaborate, advocate, learn, develop, and promote women at all levels. The Women’s Network is committed to a culture of inclusion that respects differences and fosters a genuine and welcoming community where everyone can feel that they belong.

ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS

All employees of the Madison team have a responsibility to treat others with respect, communicate courteously, exhibit conduct that does not offend, intimidate or exclude others.  We know that we will have different opinions, but we will listen with an open mind, seeking to understand different points of view. 

We will display a high level of integrity by holding each other accountable when undesirable behavior is displayed, always maintaining a mutually respectful and professional attitude. We will hold ourselves accountable by reflecting on our own words and actions to ensure that they align with the this commitment, while keeping an open mind and seeking opportunities for growth.

All employees are also required to attend and complete annual diversity awareness training to enhance their knowledge to fulfill this responsibility.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS

We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for all and will not tolerate harassment in the workplace. Harassment or disrespectful behavior can be verbal, non-verbal or physical. Examples include:

  • Yelling or intimidating others
  • Making threats
  • Offensive jokes
  • Racial slurs
  • Inappropriate comments regarding an individual’s ethnicity
  • Sexual advances
  • Requests for sexual favors
  • Any other unwelcome visual, verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature

We have a zero-tolerance policy for actions that threaten our employees, customers, suppliers, visitors or property.
